Quality management has become an integral part of modern companies. Certification and standardisation play a major role in all companies of the FAUN Group. Quality starts with purchasing and the raw materials used and flows into the production of our vehicles. Quality also plays a major role in our internal company processes. Work processes are constantly optimised and the FAUN-internal project 'CIP' (Continuous Improvement Process) permeates all areas and is lived by all employees.

Value stability, economical use of resources and social responsibility are building blocks of our corporate culture. We use our materials in a sustainable and high-quality manner. As a market leader, we are aware of our responsibility for sustainable environmental protection. Responsibility has a long tradition with us.
As early as 1979, we manufactured the AK 436 sweeper with reduced emissions, low noise and fuel efficiency. In 1991, we received the world's oldest environmental label, the "Blue Angel", for the VEGA road sweeper. And in 2017, our VIAJET 5 sweeper was again awarded the "Blue Angel" certificate for lowest emissions. Since 2006, we have been working on alternative drive technologies for an emission-free transport sector. In 2018, we presented the prototype of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle BLUEPOWER at the leading environmental trade fair IFAT. The first 20 vehicles will go into service with customers in 2021. CLIMATE PROTECTION THROUGH CIRCULAR ECONOMY E.V.
FAUN is a member of the initiative "Klimaschutz durch Kreislaufwirtschaft e.V.". The aim of the association is the exchange and joint projects of companies and associations in the waste and recycling industry that are actively involved in climate protection and want to work together to further develop the economic potential in NRW.
