Sweeper for dual application
FAUN VIAJET AQUATHERM Sweeper IFBA Press release 2017
The manufacturer of sweeper systems, FAUN Viatec GmbH, presents its VIAJET sweeper with supplementary AQUATHERM equipment at the International Trade Fair for Recovery and Towing (IFBA).
From 18th to 20th May 2017, trade visitors in Kassel can marvel at the benefits of this dual function sweeping system.
The AQUATHERM system can be integrated into the VIAJET 6/7/8/12 series to widen the range of applications in which the sweeper can be used. AQUATHERM was designed specifically for thermal surface cleaning at the industrial level; it is ideal for use on large surface areas or for cleaning up after an accident or oil spill. In the event of an incident or accident, the sweeper and thermal surface cleaner do not need to be deployed separately – resulting in faster response times, a reduction in personnel costs and an outstanding cost/benefit ratio. The AQUATHERM offers clear additional benefits and opens up lucrative new applications to operators of sweepers. The combined cleaning system removes contamination following accidents or incidents. Surfactants are sprayed onto the contamination, worked in with the roller brush and then rinsed off, together with the contamination, using the high-pressure hot water jet. The residue is vacuumed up completely through the rear suction system of the VIAJET AQUATHERM over a width of up to 2.50 m. This process also prevents any oil subsequently rising to the surface (as can happen when using traditional oil-binding agents). The VIAJET AQUATHERM can be used for the following applications: Removing oil spills, industrial cleaning, cleaning large surfaces, suctioning up grit or also for maintenance cleaning of drainage asphalt/silent asphalt. This vehicle was certified and registered in class M according to RAL GGVU (Gütegemeinschaft für Verkehrsflächenreinigung und Unfallsanierung e.V.) (German Institute for Quality Assurance for cleaning transport surfaces and cleaning up after accidents).
FAUN Viatec GmbH is a part of the KIRCHHOFF Group, which is active all over the world. The sweeper system manufacturer is one of the leading suppliers in Europe. 130 people are employed in Grimma in Saxony and up to 300 vehicles leave the production halls every year.
