FAUN and FIMA Industries sign contract for waste management in Nigeria

The FAUN Group and FIMA Industries (Austria) signed a joint contract at the German-Nigerian Business Forum in Lagos to tackle the waste problem in Nigeria. As part of this project, FIMA will supply three state-of-the-art waste treatment plants, while FAUN will provide the disposal vehicles. The material recovery facilities will sort waste such as plastic, paper and metals for recycling and process organic waste into compost. FAUN will provide rear loaders to optimise waste logistics in Lagos. Delivery is planned for 2025.
