1785 trees for the future

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our group is growing.

To be more precise, 1785 trees that we planted as reforestation in Holste-Oldendorf near our FAUN plant. The number is based on the founding year of the parent company of the KIRCHHOFF Group, the Iserlohn-based company Stephan Witte & Comp. In the presence of Dr Johannes F Kirchhoff (Managing Partner, 2nd from right), our CEO Patrick Hermanspann (left) and the initiator of the project Prof Thomas Kirchhoff (Cultural Officer of the KIRCHHOFF Group, centre) as well as the district forester and the Lürssen tree nursery, seedlings were planted for the future that are well suited to the changed climatic conditions. Among them are copper beech, English oak, hornbeam, winter linden, sycamore maple, wild cherry and 50 Californian redwoods. Forests are also being created in Attendorn, Mainz and 2021 at KIRCHHOFF Group city locations in Poland, France, Italy, Hungary, Portugal and Romania.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
