What is compliance
"Compliance" means observing rules and laws. The FAUN Compliance Organisation helps to explain rules, to observe them in everyday life and to control them. In this way we can reduce possible risks to a minimum.

Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct is based on the corporate values of KIRCHHOFF Ecotec GmbH, which form the basis of our culture.
Values influence our daily behaviour.
The present Code of Conduct is a more concrete addition to this.
The Code of Conduct does not claim to be exhaustive. This means that there will always be a number of situations where the guidelines are not sufficient and where staff members need to rely on the values and common sense or seek advice.
This Code of Conduct applies to KIRCHHOFF Ecotec GmbH and the companies of the FAUN Group, ZOELLER Group, HIDRO-MAK, FARID and Superior-Pak and forms an umbrella for all other KIRCHHOFF Ecotec policies.
KIRCHHOFF Ecotec GmbH expects all employees at all levels and all those who work on behalf of KIRCHHOFF Ecotec, FAUN, ZOELLER and HIDRO-MAK, FARID and Superior-Pak, such as sales representatives, consultants and other business partners, to comply with the Code of Conduct.
If local laws or internal regulations impose more comprehensive requirements on KIRCHHOFF Ecotec GmbH than those set out in the Code of Conduct, these take precedence and must be followed. It is the responsibility of the employee to know and understand this Code of Conduct, as well as the laws that apply in the performance of his or her duties, and to comply with these laws in word and spirit. All managers of the KIRCHHOFF Ecotec Group act as role models in complying with the Code of Conduct.
Managers are obliged to inform their subordinates about the Code of Conduct and to encourage and monitor their compliance with the Code of Conduct.
If you have any questions or need advice regarding the content, interpretation or application of this Code of Conduct, please contact your line manager.
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action by the employer. All employees are required to take immediate action when confronted with a violation of this Code of Conduct. Such cases may be reported to the immediate supervisor or to the members of the Ethics Committee.

Third parties, sales representatives and suppliers
We only contract with sales representatives, third party agents or suppliers if their standards of conduct comply with our Code.

In addition to questions and information on compliance-relevant topics, the above-mentioned channels are also available for complaints regarding risks and violations of human rights, environmental aspects, product safety, information security and cybersecurity, as well as type approval issues at FAUN and its direct suppliers.
Questions, comments and complaints can be submitted anonymously or by name. We guarantee that your concerns will be handled confidentially. We assure internal and external whistleblowers that no discrimination or punishment will take place.
If you submit your request by name, you will receive written confirmation of receipt from us within five working days.
The FAUN representatives will then work with you on the facts of the case. Your contact person is committed to confidentiality and acts impartially, independently and without instructions.
In the course of processing the incident, necessary remedial measures are defined and implemented.
Information and complaints received are processed with the decision-makers in the company as part of the regular analysis under the protection of confidentiality.
The entire process is documented according to a predefined standard. Upon request, the documentation can be made available to the whistleblower in the event of a report by name.
