As Body specialist for Municipal vehicles we have a wealth of experience in testing alternative drive systems. It started in 2006 with DUALPOWER, an electric vehicle with a small diesel generator and supercaps in which the braking energy was stored temporarily. 20 vehicles were on the road in the districts and gave us new impulses for the next concept: FUELCELL - a refuse vehicle whose body was powered by hydrogen. Energy losses, fuel prices and climate protection have brought us to electromobility and hydrogen.
In 2018, we were able to launch the first prototype of the BLUEPOWER present. A battery-electric chassis with hydrogen fuel cell as a range extender for the most diverse applications. Since 2019, the first battery-electric and H2 refuse collection vehicles have been in test operation, collecting 20 tonnes of recyclables every day.
These milestones have inspired us and we want to drive the hydrogen economy forward. To this end, we are involved in regional and European hydrogen projects and clusters and want to produce only H2 vehicles by 2030.
The climate targets in freight transport are important for a sustainable future and at the same time a central driver for change in the transport sector.

Type approval directly from the manufacturer for standard-approved trucks, including entry in the vehicle registration certificate in accordance with § 19 (1) of the StVZO.
Space and installation space on the carrier vehicle for a wide variety of superstructures. The battery modules are mounted under the driver's cab for ideal load distribution.
The energy management system controls energy consumption according to the driving profile and keeps it as low as possible.

Hydrogen offers many advantages:

CLEAN PROCESSES
Green and orange hydrogen are climate-neutral.
Waste management companies produce electricity for hydrogen production in biogas or waste incineration plants and refuel their vehicles or even buses.
