As a body specialist for municipal vehicles, we have a wealth of experience in testing alternative drive systems. It began in 2006 with DUALPOWER, an electric vehicle with a small diesel generator and supercaps into which the braking energy was temporarily stored. 20 vehicles were on the road in the precincts and gave us new impulses for the next concept: FUELCELL – a refuse vehicle whose body was powered by hydrogen. Energy losses, fuel prices and climate protection have brought us to electromobility and hydrogen.
In 2018, we were able to present the first prototype of the BLUEPOWER. A battery-electric chassis with hydrogen fuel cell as a range extender for the most diverse applications. Since 2019, the first battery-electric and H2 waste vehicles have been in test operation, collecting 20 tons of recyclables every day.

These milestones have given us wings and we want to drive the hydrogen economy forward. To this end, we are involved in regional and European hydrogen projects and clusters and aim to produce only H2 vehicles by 2030.

Type approval directly from the manufacturer for standard approved trucks, including entry in the vehicle registration certificate according to § 19 (1) of the StVZO.
Space and installation room on the carrier vehicle for a wide variety of superstructures. The battery modules are mounted under the driver’s cab in a load-ideal way.
The energy management system controls energy consumption according to the driving profile and keeps it as low as possible.

ENERGY SOURCE OF THE FUTURE
Hydrogen offers a lot of advantages:
– Payload advantage, as H2 is lightweight
– fast to refuel
– avoidance of the increasing CO2 price
Green and orange hydrogen are climate-neutral.
Waste management companies produce electricity for hydrogen production in biogas or waste incineration plants and refuel their vehicles or even buses.
This also creates potential for climate protection and environmental compatibility for the value chains.
