30 years of KIRCHHOFF x FAUN

The FAUN journey with the KIRCHHOFF Group began 30 years ago. How did it all begin? Well, it was a story of family, bouquets of flowers, 1. FC Nuremberg and a little coincidence.

At the beginning of the 1990s, our CEO Dr Johannes F. Kirchhoff was sitting at his father's table - and explained to him in no uncertain terms that he was a "rubbish man", an automotive supplier who was joining the family business. But then the moment came: a phone call, an appointment and suddenly father and son Kirchhoff were standing in front of the then owner family Schmidt in Nuremberg - with a bouquet of flowers and the hope of something new.

Over coffee and conversations about the Nuremberg football club, the Lederer brewery and the Meistersinger, Mrs Schmidt made the decisive statement: "We know why you're here." It was to take another three years, but on 1 November 1994, it was official: FAUN became part of the KIRCHHOFF family and Johannes Müllwagen-Erbauer.

Today, 30 years later, we are proud of this journey and the values that drive us: Family, innovation, passion and the pursuit of sustainable solutions. 🚛🍀
